Nyang Nyang Beach

Nyang-Nyang Beach is one of the beaches in Bali which is still empty of visitors, only a few have visited it. This beach is very preferred by those who need peace and quiet but still equipped with natural beauty which is also exotic.

            Our visit to Nyang Nyang Beach was planned last week, then it was agreed on Sunday December 4th and the fix was we went where it was decided to deal on Monday night, so our visit was carried out on Tuesday December 6th, the activity started at 4 p.m.

            We divided the trip into 2 groups, I (Stepfanus) went to the location first because I had another activity at 6 pm and the remaining second group consisted of Meisya, Jeremy, Tio and Revan there were also our friends who participated in our group visit to the beach Nyang Nyang, namely I Kadek Satrio Wijaya, he also enjoys the beauty of this Nyang-Nyang beach.

            Even though it is a fairly long distance, almost 60 minutes from Denpasar, the beauty of this beach pays off all our efforts to come to this beach. For the free entry ticket price, all we have to do is bring a motorbike with full gasoline, we can enjoy beautiful views and interesting photo spots. The location is located in Pecatu Village, South Kuta Sub-District, Badung Regency, close to Uluwatu. This beach has the characteristics of a beautiful white sand beach.

                This beach is rarely known by other people, it can be seen from the quietness of this beach. Due to its isolated area or being on the tip of the island of Bali which is adjacent to the Uluwatu Temple. But before we can get to the shoreline we have to pass many steps which we estimate are around 400-500 steps. We must have a strong physique to get to the bottom (beach edge) and physically tough to get to the top again.

                For the trip itself before going to the location, we also have to go through a winding road because it is located on the contour of a hill, we will automatically take uphill and downhill and need to be careful when riding a motorbike.

            Not far from this beach, in fact, we as visitors can also play paragliding on the Peninsula hill. Of course, playing paragliding can make us see around the beach and the beauty of the beach to the fullest. The tourist object of Nyang Nyang Pecatu Beach, which is still relatively new, still lacks facilities for visitors. Meanwhile, the tourism potential of this beach is very large if it is developed. But for toilet facilities and changing rooms after we have played on the beach (playing in the water, playing with sand, etc.) they are available and for access the road is also asphalt/concrete.

            In our opinion, this beach can be developed even better in terms of tourism promotion so that more visitors come and know that there is a beautiful beach near the Uluwatu temple and is worth visiting, this is also the role of the government and traditional villages to develop Nyang-Nyang beach from all aspects, especially access and facilities, if access is easy to reach and affordable for visitors then many will visit, promotional media is also important for this beach location. With automatic promotions, many will know about this beach in the future. And of course the hope is that more will come, but it still has to be accompanied by adequate facilities. Because behind the beauty of the beach must still be equipped with facilities that can make tourists feel comfortable to visit.

                From the results of our visit, we learned the lesson that all corners of Bali must have one beautiful place that is rarely visited, and we as visitors to this beach feel that our efforts have paid off when we want to travel to this beach, we are satisfied with the beauty of the white sand, the splashing waves, and the atmosphere of the beach that makes our group feel comfortable and take private pictures or look for the best photo spots.                 The main reason for tourists visiting Nyang Nyang Beach is that the atmosphere is still very quiet. Moreover, this one beach is a beach with very difficult location access. So, visitors who come to this place will really feel like they are on a private beach. It's a very appropriate location for travelers who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a moment.

                We hope that this nyang-nyang beach will continue to develop properly, increasing the number of visits from domestic tourists, especially Balinese and foreign tourists. There are still deficiencies in terms of access and facilities. We hope that the local government or local customary village can increase or improve this.
